Rather than try to maintain two blogs, I’ve decided to incorporate this project into my main blog, through the poet’s eye. Please update your bookmarks and links, and I’ll see you there.
I’m sure many will think this is crazy, but I love dandelions. I love their cheery yellow blanketing the fields in spring, and I love when my children bring me little bouquets of them for my table. Most of our dandelions are gone, already turned to cottoney fluff and blown away by the wind, but I did find a few to capture…

Sometimes life unexpected gets in the way of my best intentions, and I have to cut out those things that are too far down on the priority list, such as personal projects. I apologize for the recent neglect of this blog. Although this project of an image a day has fallen by the wayside for a while, I still love the idea, and I will continue to make and post images here. Look for them to be more weekly than daily, however – I need to redefine the parameters of my participation to fit the reality of my life.
That said, here are a few of my favorites from the images I made, but never got a chance to process and post until now…
Downtown Holland:

Wacky Hair day:

Future documentary maker. His current project: an iMovie slideshow called Space using public domain images taken by the Hubble Telescope:

My Project of the Month for May: hang this frame (which, btw, was a killer deal at $10, just because of this imperfect corner):

This is another “things that make me happy” image. It is my husband’s dresser top, which I’ve finally decorated with something more pleasing to the eye than receipts and other pocket clutter.
I’m apologize for falling so far behind in posting. My older son has been very ill, and while I’ve managed to keep up with taking the images okay, I haven’t had the time or the heart to sit down at the computer and process them all.
He is, however, beginning to get better, and I will try to fill in the gaps here while I catch up on everything that has fallen away while he’ s been ill.
This is not the sick one, obviously. I couldn’t choose just one image for this day that really exemplified that total delight my youngest found in performing armpit farts for me. It’s a new thing…
